The Stupidity of Low Carb

Low carb diets don't work for a lot of reasons. Here are a few:

The only way to get enough calories in a low carb diet is by eating fat. Fat contains 9 calories per gram and carbs contain 4 calories per gram. Since a low carb dieter has to their calories from carbs ridiculously low it is impossible to get enough calories from the protein because if you eat too much protein you will get sick and vomit and/or you will damage your kidneys,

Fat fattens best.

Low carb diets cause muscle wasting.

The carb phobics think that "carb craving" is why they are lard asses. When carbs are cut out, the body starts starving for glucose which is stored in the liver as glycogen. When the liver becomes depleted of glycogen the brain become starved for glucose. If the brain is starved of glucose for too long a serious condition called ketogenic psychosis occurs. Ketogenic psychosis it irreversible.
